Now That Spring is Imminent

Here are some shots from this winter.

Its important to soak up the  the last warm rays of  indian summer and rest up for the coming cold weather.

Nap time is better if you can find a friend to act as a pillow.

Some days are definitely better than others.

and everyone large or small  appreciates a little love.

and understanding.

The higher elevations have had a surplus of snow this year, but here in the valley we’ve  had to make do with an occasional sprinkling.

Which mostly makes everyone glad for their winter coat or feathery down.

And for dinnertime.

It’s better to be inside looking out on days like this.

where  good things are in the making, canned cherries for instance

and apricot Jam.

Filling up that new pantry with more good things to eat.

and Puppies!

Everyone loves puppies!  Especially ticklish puppies.

But now the crocus’ are up!

and daffodils too.

Even Frankie the Cat knows what that means.

It may still look like winter outside, but spring is just around the corner.

We just have to keep a sharp eye out for it.

Leiah I know I have told you before, but I’m going to tell you again, I take great delight in hearing and seeing all the goings on at Johnny’s garrden. Your words bring together a delightful picture of what life has brought to you. It bridges the distance between us and takes away just a bit of the “missing you guys” emotions I have. Thank you sister

So are we going to get to see a blog on the life and times of living with the pups? I sure hope so!
